The Technical Unit for ICT of the ENEA Agency has the task of 
promoting the research and development of information technology, ICT 
technologies and high-performance scientific computing.

In particular the ENEA 3D GraphLab is specialized in 3D acquisition 
 and visualization of Cultural Heritage artefacts exploiting range and 
image based techniques.

Together with all professional skills (humanities and ICT), at the 3D 
GraphLab are available different kind of devices for the digitization 
(Time of Flight Laser Scanner, Triangulation Laser Scanner, Structured 
Light Scanner), as well as for visualization (3D portable stereo 
passive system).

The 3D GraphLab can count on the Cresco4 HPC infrastructure which is 
composed of around 4000 cores.
It houses the ark3d architecture for remote rendering of 3D HD models 
(million of polygons) and can be exploited for time and resources 
consuming computational processes.
