Triad Resourcing has an exciting new opportunity for a client in Central London. The role is a permanent role working in the Fibre Engineering department.
•5 Years Telecoms industry experience (In design/planning environment)
•3 Years Smallworld PNI experience to at least administration level
•3 Years minimum experience of other GIS platforms and CAD packages
•Highly competent in use of all MS office programmes
•Thorough understanding of data modelling
•2 years plus application development (Access/Visual Basic/SQL Server)
•2 years plus FME experience (for large complex analysis tasks)
•Proven Fiber Rates data collation methodologies for the VOA
•Good understanding of civil and fibre network planning and design principles.
•Excellent writing and reporting skills
•Project management experience (at least 2 years)
•Technical Authoring Experience
•Excellent understanding of network construction activities.
•To have carried out a civil planning function
Job Summary (Description of main purpose of job):
Model all fibre networks, to a very high standard, within Europe across a number for formats, provide first line support to local users and to provide network data analysis and reports to the business. This role also requires the maintenance and development of tools and applications to enable simplified thematic views of our data (for instance, Google Earth).
