Not that I don't agree with Falco - but just to point out that the contract will "only" be for eight hours teaching a week, term time only. It's a fixed term, fixed hours, sessional pay kind of job that pays 73 pounds per teaching hour - I have to say I've taught for less (and that's not for lack of qualification). And then, of course, there will be additional "certain allowances"... who knows, they might make all the difference.
Unfortunately, it's the way it is at universities these days: hourly paid teaching - and that means you get paid for the hours that you're teaching. The time you need to prepare, well, that's up to you...
But for those who apply for the job, I really hope that the allowences make up for the low salary.
