Dear colleagues,
I am helping to organise a public event on 20 May (details at http://www.starandshadow.org.uk/on/film/1384), to discuss the connections between current changes to welfare provision and immigration controls in the UK. We aim to show several short films, and already have two confirmed, one about experiences of benefits and one about the impact of the cuts on refugees in the North East, but we are looking for a third. Does anybody have any suggestions? For the third film to show at this event we would be particularly interested in any films that focus on the lived experiences of EU migrants, but suggestions of other films relevant to this theme would also be helpful, as we may organise further events in future.
Best wishes,
Tom
