As you may know SBSE is all about the application modern heuristic techniques (especially EC, which has been most widely used) to problems in software engineering.

                ISSSE 2014 Travel Grant

We are pleased to announce the “ISSSE 2014 Travel Grant” to encourage 
Bachelor and Master students to attend and participate in the 11th 
International Summer School on Software Engineering (ISSSE) to be held
in Salerno (Italy) from 30th June to 3rd July.

We encourage all Bachelor/Master Computer Science or related topic 
full time students interested to apply.
We will choose up to four students from the applicant pool to receive:
	-	Complementary registration
	-	Complementary accommodation: four nights accommodation for those 
		with less than 2 hours journey and five nights for those with
		more than a two hour journey
	-	Travel expenses reimbursement (up to a maximum of £300)
		for travelling in economy class

Eligibility
To be eligible for the ISSSE 2014 Travel Grant candidates must:
	-	Be a student enrolled in a full time Bachelor or Master degree   
		in Computer Science or related topic at an European University
	-	Maintain a strong academic background

How To Apply
To apply send, no later than 7th April, an e-mail to [log in to unmask] 
with the subject heading “ISSSE 2014 Travel grant” containing:
	-	Your full name, e-mail address, and University affiliation
	-	Your CV
	-	1-pages statement (no more than 800 words) about why you wish  
		to attend the ISSSE and why attending is important to your
		research and/or future career

Winners and Claim Process
The winners will be notified by e-mail two months before the ISSSE. 
Please, note we expect to fund 50% female and male students.
If you are a successful applicant, you will be sent your accommodation 
details and you can choose to book the flight through our system 
or to buy it by yourself. In this case receipts for travel 
expenses must be retained and these will be reimbursed 
(up to a maximum of £300) after the event.
