Framing with magnets is good and fairly easy and I have used magnets for hanging drawings and photos, many prefer to use pins (clear headed). Both are excellent for irregular shaped works
What I can suggest for large drawing is that you use small diameter magnet that is larger on height. 1cm wide is 2cm I find to intrusive.
HOWEVER there are things you need to know:
1. big thing is to make sure the backing plate, or metal washer is firmly attached to the wall otherwise it will pull off, blue tack is no good 3M or command strips
2.Make sure you use enough powerful magnets, they can be stacked but if you do not have enough or they are not strong enough the paper will slide between the backing plate and the magnet.
3. downside-people love nicking them for fridge magnets

If you can use pins but don't want to puncture the paper, the a clever alternative I have seen is to attach command strips to the back but only remove the side that attached to the paper. Leave the little round bit exposed and pin through that.
Heres the local brand to give you an idea.
