I would recommend a 3m hole in the fence, I think the university and sustrans will find that two bikes will pass through that quite easily! Turnstile.... Good grief!

Hello everyone
Major breakthrough here in Chester wrt cycle facilities at the university. We’ve just had permission to install a turnstile gateway to connect the campus with the Sustrans path that runs alongside.
Does anyone have any details of suitable gates? I’ve been passed info sheet on the REXON DEA-GATE but is anyone aware of others that would be more appropriate. ( I’m a little worried about the potential difficulty of access through this type of gate when panniers are attached (as many of us use them)).
Any recommendations gratefully received off-list.
Peter
