The solution to my issue was kindly provided by Gian Maria Valent of the
University of Padova.
"The quality of the image is too low for publication because its resolution
is 198 dpi. Images for publication must be at least 300 dpi, but the web
images are often low-resolution.
With a software like photoshop you can resize the image. If you have
photoshop, the command path you have to follow is : menu "image" then,
"size", then in the box "resolution" write "300" without modify other
parameters. The weight of the image will increase of course, but the
resolution will be good for printing."
I do not have Photoshop but I did have an equivalent graphics program.
There was no need for me to find another image - I just needed to enhance
the resolution of the image I already possessed.
