David,
In short, no, at least for now.
This is one of the ongoing issues that the Joint Industry Working Group is pondering over and so it is very much work in progress.
LA environments permits for recycling C&D material state "no asbestos" but this is not defined.
We know what no asbestos means in the context of bulk samples, i.e. below trace, but not for soil.
I suspect that ultimately we will have to consider promulgating a practical number that takes account of UK background levels in soil and a pragmatic LOQ that is underpinned by the forthcoming SCA BlueBook method.
What does "no asbestos" mean in Australia?
Kind regards

Steve,
Can you expand on your suggested "No asbestos" clause? Is that zero, <0.001%w/w or <0.1%w/w asbestos.
Thanks
David
