> I've recently begun to look into the use of detention in relation to Caribbean migrants to Europe, both in prisons and in immigration removal centres. I'd appreciate it if anyone on the list can recommend any resources that would help me on my way with this? I understand that an organisation named Hibiscus Initiatives has been doing some work around this -

Over the weekend there was also the shocking news that a Jamaican woman died whilst in detention at Yarl's Wood immigration removal centre in the UK. If anyone can offer a wider European perspective on a wider range of Caribbean migrants, I would appreciate it.
