Dear All
As you may be aware, the Be Inspired lecture series is about to launch, with our first talk being given by the director of the first natural human decomposition laboratory in the world, Dr Dawnie Steadman, on April 7th.
The programme, set up as part of the University's Athena SWAN initiatives, will see world-leading female scientists deliver high-profile research lectures, and are free and open to the public to attend. As this is our launch, it would be fantastic if we could make this a huge success. We would therefore be grateful if, as School's Committee Chairs, you could support this event by putting the word out to your SAT Team members and to staff and students in general in your School.
I have attached a copy of our poster for the event for you to look at.
Also, as the lecture series is set to run for the next few years, if you know of any inspiring women academics in your field that you think would be brilliant guests to invite along to talk, please feel free to suggest them and let myself or Belinda know!
Your assistance in this is greatly appreciated.
Best wishes
Nicole
