Records Management Officer

£26,264 - £30,424 per annum (pro rata)
3 days a week
Girton College is seeking a Records Management Officer to develop
proactively and maintain the existing College records retention schedule
which principally covers paper records and develop, implement and
maintain an electronic records management system. The post holder will
also be responsible for ensuring that the College complies with the
requirements of the Freedom of Information Act.
The appointee will have experience of working in a senior records
management role, be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and hold a
qualification in records management and/or archive management. He/she
will be able to demonstrate good organisational and administrative
skills, be able to manage projects and have cutting edge IT skills. The
appointee will have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to
present and communicate information clearly.
