1.2 New FELTAG report: The digital future for Further Education
The Further Education Learning Technology Action Group (FELTAG) report was published today; the report looks at paths forward to a digital future for Further Education and Skills. Recommendations in the report are based on the work of the FELTAG group and an open conversation amongst the wider community.

1.3 New partnership between ALT and the Irish Learning Technology Association (ILTA)

2.1 ALT Inclusive Learning SIG Online Event, Thursday 27 March, 12.30 -1.30
The topic will be MOOCS and Inclusive Practice. Room will be open 15 minutes before start of session. Speakers will include: Deborah Ferns, Legal Information Specialist at Jisc Legal; Shri Footring, E-Learning Advisor at Jisc RSC London. All welcome.

2.2 CMALT webinar for candidates, Thursday 3 April, 12.30 – 13.30
The session is designed to provide information and support to candidates looking to complete their portfolios in the next few months. It will provide an overview of the submission process, advice on how to complete a portfolio and an opportunity to see how the assessment process works.

2.3 OER14 Newcastle University, 28-29 April 2014
Now in its fifth year, OER14 is an international conference on open education. The conference is supported by ALT and the ALT Open Education Special Interest Group. This year the conference themes are:

2.5 AoC Learning Technology Conference, London, Thursday 27 March 2014, 9.00 – 4.30
The Conference will focus on issues specific to FE colleges and Sixth Forms with regard to the adoption and implementation of technologies for learning and teaching. This one-day conference will be delivered with ALT.

2.6 The Digital Student – Understanding Student expectations and experiences of the digital environment, Tuesday, April 1, 2014 - 12:30
This webinar will report on findings from a Jisc study into students expectations and experiences of the digital environment at university. The study reviewed existing research and survey evidence from institutions, as well as conducting original interviews and focus groups. The webinar is an opportunity for ALT members to take part in this consultation, not only exploring how the findings are reflected at your own institution but helping to shape the future of the project. Jisc is also about to launch a parallel study and consultation process in further education.

3.1 ENABLE Awards 2014: Call for Nominations
The Enable Awards 2014 is about celebrating and rewarding the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) to support lifelong learning by disabled adults in order to overcome barriers and increase opportunities.
There are three different categories and prizes: 1. Disabled person using ICT to support disabled adult learners (prize - HP 250 G1 Notebook PC sponsored by Assistive Solutions); 2. Teacher who uses ICT in innovative ways to support disabled adult learners (prize - iPad Mini with i-read/write software sponsored by TextHelp); 3. Developer of new ICT to support disabled adult learners (prize - conference place at altc2014 sponsored by ALT Inclusive Learning SIG)
