Dear Experts,
I am working on a research with two samples. Neurodegenerative disease sample and normal control group. We are calculating the FA mean of each sample and ROI analysis for calculating the FA value of different white matter tracts.
The FA values of ROIs from neurodegenerative sample are statistically significant lower than FA values of ROIs from normal control group, with is an expected result. However, we found opposit results when we compare the mean FA from this groups: the mean FA value of neurodegenerative disease shows higher values than normal control group, this difference is statistically significant too.
We think that this is caused by an error, because it doesn´t make sense.
Can you help us, please?
Thanks in advance,
Maria.
