Hi everyone
a useful summary of the outcomes of the Government's consultation on Housing Standards cna be found at
http://www.habinteg.org.uk/main.cfm?type=REVIEWOFHOUSINGSTA1&utm_source=HFLF+invitees+excl+attendees+%26+LTH+list&utm_campaign=925f4c712f-HFLF_postevent_email17102013&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_e43a6cc0b6-925f4c712f-73117761
whilst there was a high level of response onthe access issues the government ploughed onwioth what they wanted - no surprises there. So we can now expect that anything approaching a minimum standard of accessibility of new housing stock will be optional at level 2 subject to viability testing of the local area.
