It is one of the longest-established and most extensive networks of addiction-related researchers in Europe. But what we are most proud of is our record of organising events which form a very real bridge between the scientific community (researchers and academics) and the practitioners community (drug workers, particularly TC staff). We also have a strong record for encouraging post-graduate students to present their ongoing work. The line-up of plenary speakers for the 2014 Symposium is a very real illustration of that aspiration - featuring academics, researchers and practitioners in an exciting programme of interest to anyone interested in addiction and recovery:
