Dear all
I've got very interested in Noah's Arks - the children's toys, rather than the bits of wood on Mount Ararat or the replicas in American theme parks.
Lots of social history collections have them, I think. But does yours by any chance have one that's well-provenanced, or unusual, or has any associated stories? (I'd love to find out if there's any truth in the story that Victorian children were allowed to play with them on Sundays because they were 'religious')
Any thoughts, ideas or information would be very gratefully received!
