I have exactly the same issue with a woman who had poor attendance then fell pregnant spent 2/3 of the pregnancy off sick with 'pregnancy related issues' then Mat leave then back 3 months and pregnant again ditto above then off Mat leave then came back 3 weeks ago was in 1 week with an emergency holiday day off in middle of week then signed off since with exhaustion and then said yesterday she is pregnant again... can't be right but they seem to be completely protected in law....would also like to know what others would do???

Does anyone have any recent experience or know of any case law relating to absenteeism ( am scared to type dismissal) during pregnancy . The company I work for are at their wits end with an employee in her 4th consecutive pregnancy and very high levels of absenteeism within each of these pregnancies nausea dizzy tired etc etc thrpughout the 26 +weeks. She comes in for a day off for a week etc. I have seen her x3 nil else I can do / offer ( though I may get a GP report) manager let's her sit / stand ( food production). Trouble is of course 'pregnancy related symptoms' each time on the med cert. Any tips hints suggestions?
