Hi
I know that this has been a widely discussed topic and that slice-timing is not recommended by fsl developers, instead adding the temporal derivative is suggested. I have some concerns whether in my case it is a good choice, since
- i have a rather sluggish TR of 3 sec
- my slice-time acquisition (philips) was interleaved but with somewhat peculiar order
(1, 7, 13, 19, 25, 31, 2, 8, 14, 20, 26, 32, 3,....,6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36)
- i have a block design, and i've read that some people don't recommend it for block designs? i can see the general reasoning there, but would that mean, but turn it on to account for slice-timing corr?
given the above concerns, would you still rather recommend no slice-timing corr but adding temp. derivative.
Thank you
Jacqueline
