Lambeth Palace Library (www.lambethpalacelibrary.org) is the historic library and archive of the Archbishops of Canterbury and the principal library and record office for the history of the Church of England. The Library's rich collections focus on ecclesiastical history, but are also important for an immense variety of topics, such as architecture, colonial history, local history and genealogy.
The post holder will play an important role in the Library’s reader services, including Reading Room supervision and enquiry work, and will contribute significantly to the Library’s cataloguing programme, using CALM for Archives.
With a professional qualification in archives management, you should have experience of archive public service work and working with archive cataloguing software. You will have good IT skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently and methodically.
