Hello,
I am studying part-time for a PhD at The Open University where I am researching reasons, other than those of the actual music, why pitch drifts when choirs sing unaccompanied. I'm looking for volunteers with any experience of leading or singing 'a cappella' music to complete a short questionnaire to find out about their singing and seek opinions as to what causes unaccompanied choirs to drift in pitch.
The results, which will be anonymised and treated in strictest confidence, will inform a series of experiments which I will undertake over an extended period with choirs.
To take part in my survey, which will take only a few minutes and from which you are free to leave at any time by closing the web page, please click the following link which takes you to my home web page. This will give you access to my survey and tell you more about my work.

I will be so grateful if can assist me and also if you can make my work known to others who you think may be interested and encourage them also to complete the questionnaire.
You will see an option at the end of the questionnaire to be kept informed of my progress. If you have any questions or thoughts about my work please email me at [log in to unmask]
Many thanks in advance for your time,
