Dear Colleagues.
You may be aware of the initiative led by Jorge Morfin (Fermilab) to form NuSTEC
(Neutrino Scattering Theory Experiment Collaboration), a CTEQ-like collaboration
to study neutrino-nucleus scattering and help address some of the issues confronting
the current and future neutrino oscillation experiments.
Like CTEQ, NuSTEC's mission includes the organisation of training events.
The first training event to be organised under the NuSTEC umbrella is a Neutrino Generator School
to be held at the University of Liverpool in 14-16 May 2014. The school will offer both lectures and
hands-on tutorials. To facilitate participation of overseas students, the school is organised as a satellite
event of the popular NuINT14 workshop to be held in London in 19-24 May 2014.
Please notice that, due hands-on nature of the generator school, participation would be limited to
around 30 students. This is likely to be an over-subscribed event, so please register early to avoid
disappointment. Preference will be given to students and young post-doctoral research associates.
The registration window will close on the 7th of March.
The programme, and all other information about the school may be found in
http://school.genie-mc.org/
Hope to see you at Liverpool.
Best regards
