Hi all,

For those that are interested here is access to an online adobe connect space where we can meet, regularly, to discuss ethnography and share ideas.

	http://breeze01.uclan.ac.uk/ethnoreflection/

This is a useful guide to using adobe connect:
http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/products/adobeconnect/pdfs/VQS_Guide_for_Participants.pdf

I have also made a little video showing you how we might use the adobe connect space:
http://breeze01.uclan.ac.uk/p7itcz68q48/

What next?
If you are interested please complete the following doodle poll to identify appropriate times when we can meet (please note these are GMT times):

http://doodle.com/96du3xi5c6bg67cc

You just have to add your name and then select the dates and times you can manage. I have just selected a range of times on Mondays and Wednesdays up until June. I think we should see how it goes with one catch-up per month, then review again in June - unless anyone has any other suggestions.

You should be able to organise meetings using the adobe connect link without me being around. Please could you check if you can enter the space independently. This will ensure you can organise meetings additional to those we plan.

I think it would be good to think about specific topics/themes for each of the more formal catch-ups. Could you have a think of some key topics?

Looking forward to meeting all that are interested in meeting!
Best wishes,

Anna Byrom

Hi Lindsay,

I would value being part of a virtual group. I can set up an adobe connect space for us to meet and chat/ share resources.

Who else would be interested?

I would be very interested in creating a virtual group with other PhD students who are also using this ethnography to share ideas. My topic area is 'midwifery decision making and perineal protection in the second stage of labour' looking at intervention measures/or not to protect the integrity of the perineum. I would be really interested in hearing about anyone else undertaking any research in this area, the topic appears to be a hot one that is getting hotter!
