We also have another research commission
Evaluating Leicestershire County Council Museum Service Collections to understand how they can be utilised to support STEM learning for Children and Young People
As part of our wider research into how we can engage audiences with our collections using digital and social media, we want to explore how we can develop online resources based on our collections to support STEM learning. We are looking for a researcher(s) or educational consultant to undertake an assessment of our existing collections and make recommendations on how we can use these to create STEM related online resources (games, films, courses, and others). The brief can be found here http://clickconnectblog.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/stem-research-v2.doc
Budget
£8,000 including ancillary expenses
Timeframe
We expect the work to start from beginning of April and be completed by end of July.
Expressions of interest are required by Monday 3 March 2014, to include an outline proposition, background of previous work of a similar or related nature, a statement explaining why you are interested in this particular commission and two references.
