Want to build your professional network and learn about librarianship
around the world? Love the idea of professional travel but just don't have
the budget? The International Librarians Network (ILN) is for you.
The ILN peer mentoring scheme is a facilitated programme aimed at helping
librarians develop international networks. We're pleased to annouce that
the next round of this popular program will commence in March 2014.
Applications to take part are now open, and will close at midnight on
Thursday 20th February. There are currently almost 300 applications from
people all over the world.
The ILN is open to anyone working in the library and information sector
around the world. It's free to join in, and the only requirements to take
part are an Internet connection, an hour each week, and a desire to build
international professional connections and learn from colleagues.
