Hi everyone,
A quick reminder that you have 8 days left to submit your nominations for the Information Literacy Award 2014 (formerly IL Practitioner of the Year). The award recognises the achievements of a practitioner or researcher from any sector – it’s not just for those working in HE – we warmly welcome nominations from schools, public libraries, special libraries and the health sector. In fact, from any information setting in which great IL work/promotion is being achieved.
You can self nominate or if you are too modest someone else can do this for you :o) The award is sponsored by those fab folks at CILIP IL Group and Talis and comes with a very nice prize! For details on our straightforward nomination process see http://www.lilacconference.com/WP/awards/il-award/
The winner will be announced at the library world’s most swankified event – the LILAC conference dinner at stunning Cutlers’ Hall, Sheffield, Thursday April 24th. We want as many people to put themselves forward for this as possible. Why? “Because we know you are worth it” ;o)
Get those nominations to me by midnight please on Thursday March 6th. Good luck everyone!
