Licensing for electronic resources (e-books, e-journals, databases and datasets) has become ever more complicated over the years, and it is time we stood back and took stock of how our contracts impact on our service delivery. The JIBS User Group has invited a number of key stakeholders including librarians, publishers, and negotiation agents to engage in discussion, presentations, and case studies around this potential professional minefield. The event is suitable for those who work with e-resources on a daily basis, those who need to be able to interpret terms and conditions to their customer base, and institutions who are looking for the best ways to collaborate. Come along and share your stories alongside colleagues from other sectors, and listen to stories of how licenses can be exploited in order to develop your services and partnerships. The event will also include the JIBS User Group AGM.
