Apologies for cross posting.
There are still a few spaces available for people to present their research in the New and Emerging Feminist Geographies session at the RGS-IBG 2014. We have extended the deadline to the 14th February 2014.
We encourage any postgraduates and early career researchers, at any stage of their research who maybe engaging with 'feminist geography' in its broadest sense. To submit an abstract and partake in what we hope will be a supportive and encouraging academic forum (please see below for more details).

Call For Papers: RGS-IBG Annual Conference 2013, London, 27-29 August 2014.
New and Emerging Feminist Geographies
Emma Kerry, Department of Geography, University of Leeds.
Laura Price, Department of Geography, Royal Holloway, University of London.
Sponsored by the Gender and Feminist Geographies Research Group (GFGRG)
The New and Emerging Feminist Geographies sessions are aimed at postgraduates and early career researchers who would like an opportunity to present their research in a supportive and constructive academic environment, and at researchers at all stages in their careers that are interested in presenting papers that discuss emerging theoretical or methodological innovations in the field of feminist geographies.
‘Feminist Geographies’ is intended to cover a broad spectrum of research; consequently papers are welcome from any area of feminist geographical inquiry, with the aim of bringing together new and emerging themes within feminist geography. Papers would also be welcome that explore how new and emerging themes within feminist geography are interconnected with other areas of geographical thought and practice, such as economic, social, historical and cultural geographies, or that engage with the conference theme of co-production.
Researchers are welcome at any stage in their research process, making the session a great opportunity for newer researchers to get experience presenting their work to an encouraging audience. The sessions will provide a great space in which to meet and discuss ideas with other feminist geographers and also to get constructive feedback on research in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Both sessions will consist of five 15-minute papers with time for questions.
Please send abstracts (approx. 250 words) and proposed titles to Emma Kerry ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) and Laura Price ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) and by Monday 14th February 2014.
