Dear Colleagues and PG students,
we are looking to employ a Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow for European Project on Youth Employment
from £32,590 to £38,907 per annum at Research Fellow Level
from £40,046 to £46,400 per annum at Senior Research Fellow Level
Working in the Brighton Business School you will join colleagues at the Centre for Research on Management and Employment (CROME), a vibrant research group where you will contribute to the EU STYLE project (Strategic Transitions for Youth Labour in Europewww.style-research.eu) on youth unemployment. The post will involve quantitative research examining family factors and the effects of youth migration on labour market transitions in Europe. Particular attention will also be given to identifying intersectional differences and outcomes in terms of class, gender and ethnicity. Ideally you will have a postgraduate qualification/PhD in the social sciences, or be on the point of completing one or have an equivalent level of professional experience. Experience of using longitudinal data such as the UK Understanding Society dataset and/or the EU SILC would be an advantage. This post is currently fixed-term for 14 months full time but can be organised on a part-time basis if required. Job sharers welcome.
