I have been asked to look into image database software (preferably open
source) which could be used to manage a collection of around 3,000 images.
This would be accessed mainly by staff, but may also be made available
online.
We are considering using ICA Atom for our archival documents, and I
wondered whether this would be suitable for images, or whether it would be
better to use more specialist software. If anyone has experience of
setting up an image database I would be grateful for any suggestions or
advice. I can be contacted off-list at [log in to unmask]
Many thanks
