Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to announce that the latest issue of Social Analysis has been published by Berghahn Journals. This special issue is titled Cutting and Connecting: 'Afrinesian' Perspectives on Networks, Relationality, and Exchange. The articles in this issue explore the longtime, complex relationship between Africa and Melanesia; thus ‘Afrinesian’ speaks of an exchange relationship that not only allows two regions to emerge as mutually constitutive and constituted terms, but also provides theoretical gifts that may circulate beyond anthropology where the notion of network is currently in vogue.
