Colleagues,
Rachel McQuilliam, Communications Manager of the Iraq Historic Allegations Team (IHAT), is investigating allegations of abuses by UK forces on Iraqi civilians during the occupation of Iraq after the war. She is trying to find ways in which to build contacts with journalists and media outlets in Iraq, in particular in the Basra area, so as to publicise the work being done and potentially locate witnesses. She is seeking an unbiased expert who can share their expertise of the diverse culture of the media in Iraq and provide thoughts on the best approach for her to take, given that she doesn't speak Arabic.
If you think you can help, please contact Rachel.
Tel 07919 395449.
