Lecturer in Film and Media
University Grade 7 (£30,728 – £36,661 p.a.)
The Institute of Communications Studies (ICS) seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Film and Media. You will have a PhD in media and communication studies, or another relevant subject area, or the award should be pending, that is, the PhD has been submitted, examined and awarded subject to minor corrections or amendments. You should also have a developing record of research in the area of film studies, with a clear indication of potential to achieve internationally recognised standards of excellence. You will be a committed teacher and outstanding communicator able to contribute to teaching and administrative activities in film and media studies. The post is open to specialists in all areas of film studies, including photography, and applications from candidates with research or teaching interests in gender, race, class and/or sexuality are especially welcome.
