Hey Julie,
I am glad that you took a stand against educational policies which you have trouble with - it is courageous in these times and I think that any educator has probably been in a similar position at some time. I sympathise, especially when it is a question of one's professional integrity. Can I just remind you, however, that this is a forum for the discussion of magic and this appears to be off topic. I hope that you are OK and the situation is resolved positively.
Best Wishes,
Dave

Subject: [ACADEMIC-STUDY-MAGIC] Peer Pressure/Confidential
Dear All,
I have issues with the educational curriculum in Scotland. I am being jostled about it, very much so.
I believe in the Theories of Piaget, the eminent psychologist, who purported assimilation and accommodation and that there were stages in development critical for learning. I took a stand against the Information communication and technology skills being taught to infants in primary schools. I have been given work in primaries in my area in this subject so have first hand experience.
What are your views ?
My integrity and honesty were in question yesterday by a member of staff of a secondary school In the area.
