Do send it to the other list too. Everyone should be aware of all this for all sorts of reasons but also there are also broader points there about the academic life per se that affect us all.

It may be a useful reference point both for individuals dealing with these sorts of issues in their own institutions, and for organisations like WIGS if we are called upon in the future to make statements concerning REF and maternity leave. I understand the editors are also planning a follow-up piece that will look at diverging practices re pay and take-up of maternity leave across UK HEIs. That could be well worth looking out for too.
