Hello all,
Thank you both!
Just to clarify further, I am particularly interested in monolingual
cases in well-established speech communities.
To create a hypothetical example, imagine three families in, say,
Chicago; one set of parents are natives of Chicago, the other is from,
say, London, and the third is from Los Angeles; however, all of their
children have spent their entire lives in Chicago, being normally
integrated into the community. Would any of them exhibit any noticeable
parent influence?
Best,
Andrej
