Hi Folks,
I'm very impressed and excited by the work going on throughout this
list. I'm a postgraduate student at Oxford University working on
queer(ing) intellectual history, specifically the relations between
affect, resistance, and governance. My current project looks at the
way in which homolove between men, manifested in the discourse of
friendship and fraternity, at the turn of the 18th century formed the
foundations of liberal justifications for community resistance and
theories of the social contract.
Al the best,

My project is looking at the division of household labour within lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender couples in England. I am especially interested in the day-to-day lives of LGBT couples and families, and the ways in which they subvert normative understandings of home.
