Keith says, and I concur, the problem was and increasingly still is, THE
DUST! Only secondarily, one would look into how then, i.e. which better way
(with vacuum and/or many other means) to get rid off it, wherever dust is
not wanted and useful.
To me, that is (ought to be) the designerly way. Not a "maybe" way, rather
a way based on irrefutable, robust evidence.
