[I have been asked to forward the request below to anyone who may have relevant expertise and is willing to contribute to this survey]
Survey message:
We are writing to ask for your help with a project to identify areas that most need evidence to inform policy and practice for humanitarian assistance, by completing a survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/VLP8JB2.
This survey is being undertaken by Evidence Aid, which is working with the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) on a project relating to the prioritisation of impact evaluations in the context of humanitarian crises arising from sudden-onset disasters and protracted emergencies. The responses to the survey will be used to achieve the aims of the project, which are to:
• Help an international consortium of donors, including DFID and USAID, to identify priority areas and evaluation questions for impact evaluations in the humanitarian sector.
• Help inform the design of a thematic call for proposals to conduct impact evaluations of humanitarian assistance responses to crises arising from sudden-onset disasters and protracted emergencies.
We are seeking responses from a wide range of people in humanitarian assistance and related areas, and should be pleased if you would share details of the survey with colleagues, so that they can also contribute.
If you have any questions or comments about the survey, or the project more generally, please don't hesitate to contact us.
With many thanks for your help,
Claire Allen and Mike Clarke
