Happy new year, and ….
Just in time for tomorrow's MECCSA conference here at Bournemouth University, David Buckingham's guest editorial for the new edition of the Media Education Research Journal is here: http://www.merj.info, along with reviews of publications by Stuart Hall, Becky Parry and a reciprocal double-review by the two authors of new Dr Who texts, Iain MacRury and Matt Hills.
There will be a MERJ flyer with a discount offer for hard copy editions or subscription in the conference pack.
Also, our next edition is guest edited by the DaRE research collaborative (Institute of Education and BFI) on the theme of Digital Media / Arts. The call for articles is also on the site, with submission guidelines.
Finally, if that's not all enough, there's even a MERJ roundtable discussion on media education / pedagogy research at the conference on Thursday afternoon.
