It's amazing how often good UX things end up back at e-commerce. Although I
guess it's not that amazing at all really!
On Android I've found F-Stop (http://www.fstopapp.com/) which is proving to
be quite promising and I've been chatting with the developer about some
enhancements (many of which he had planned already). One of its real
strengths is that it can read EXIF/IPTC metadata from the images. I have
written a quick script that takes Flickr Commons images and associated data
through the API and writes local copies of image files with that data
embedded in the image files (things like date taken, tags, attribution etc)
and then I just drop them in and it all works :)
