Dear all,
I have similar question as Juan.
My student initially learnt traditional Chinese and for the last two years she switched to lean simplified Chinese.
She is able to read most simplified characters but in the writing, very often she writes in traditional characters. She will be doing her GCSE soon, will she get marked down if she mixes traditional and simplified characters in her answers?
Many thanks,
Anna

We are using Edexcel Chinese for A2 by Hodder Education, which is in simplified characters. While she can guess or figure out most of the simplified characters, it does slow her reading/revision pace down.
