I endorse Glyndwr Micheal's polite request. I do not usually encourage posts that are not job adverts, but his point is well made and I hope users of GIS-JOBS advertising jobs will take note.
We currently have 2780 subscribers. [log in to unmask] has been providing a free service, for both job advertisers and job seekers for over 20 years now. It also allow students to see what skills and experience are in demand and those seeking to fill posts to see what competitors are offering. Very large numbers of vacancies have been successfully filled.
Thanks

Hi,
Can I politely request that posts on GIS-JOBS that have not been filled are not reposted multiple times in the same month. For example, the NLPG positions in London posted on 7th, 10th and 17th Jan. Everyone that comes here reads through all the jobs in the last few weeks and applies for any that are suitable. In addition putting *******STARS AND CAPITALS******** in every post makes it incredibly difficult to scan posts, something we often all have to do in a hurry. I am sure if people looking through have the right skillsets they will apply anyway.
Thanks in advance!
G Micheal
