Hi,
For the matrix conventions the origin is in the corner, but the decomposition into angles and translations is arbitrary and it depends on how you've done it as to whether the centre of rotation is there or not. If you wanted to combine transformations then I recommend doing it with convert_xfm and the -concat option. This will deal only in matrices (where the centre of rotation is irrelevant). You can always decompose the resulting matrix into rotations and translations afterwards if you really want this.
All the best,
Mark
