Dear Partners,

Capacity Africa Training Institute is pleased to announce the following
Training workshops to be held in the Month of January 2014 in Nairobi, Kenya.

1)      PROPOSAL WRITING & FUNDRAISING- 22ND - 24TH JANUARY 2014.
2)      PROJECT MANAGEMENT, MONITORING & EVALUATION- 28TH TO 31ST JAN 2014.

Workshop Organizers
Capacity Africa Institute (www.capacityafrica.com) is an organization that was established in 1999 to promote quality capacity building among development professionals and communities in Africa. The organization currently  runs  training programmes  in Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo and South Sudan training over three thousand development workers in the last thirteen years. We have collaborated very closely with Action Aid Kenya, Unicef Kenya Country Office, Undp Kenya, Unifem East Africa, Population Services International, World Health Organization, Ministry of Health, Federation of Women Lawyers-FIDA, Amref, National Council for Population and Development, Nation Media Group ,Shell Kenya and Shell International, Path, Techno serve, One Love One World, National Aids Control Council, Center for British Teachers, JRS Sudan, Christian Mission Aid, Sudanese Red Cross, Mercy Corps International, Tear Fund, Oxfam GB, Haki Kazi, and ADRA South Sudan Sector Programme, among others.

PROPOSAL WRITING AND FUNDRAISING WORKSHOP 
The Dates: 22ND TO 24TH JAN 2014.
Venue: HENNESIS HOTEL NAIROBI.
The Cost: Kshs 36,000 / Usd 450.

Program staff attending the training will get hands on skills in the following areas:
1. Project planning, design and proposal writing
2. Work plan development
3. Budget development.
4. Writing grant-winning proposals (hands on drills)
5. Understanding fundraising tips, and the politics of grant-making in Africa.
6. Developing fundraising strategy for your organization
7. Online fundraising strategies

PROJECT MANAGEMENT MONITORING & EVALUATION TRAINING WORKSHOP 
DATES: 28TH TO 31ST JANUARY 2014
FEES: KSHS. 50,000/- (USD 600) PER PERSON
