A reminder that the deadline for proposing papers for the the next
Annual Meeting of Postgraduates in Ancient History (AMPAH) is next
Friday: 17th January 2014.
This year's AMPAH will behosted by the Department of Classics & Ancient
History at the University of Manchester, on Saturday 22nd March 2014. As
usual, the Meeting is designed to offer an opportunity for UK
postgraduates in Ancient History to present aspects of their work to
friendly audiences of other postgraduates. It is also a very good
opportunity to meet postgraduates from other universities.
Research students interested in offering a paper on any aspect of
ancient history are invited to submit abstracts of 250-300 words for
papers of no more than 20 minutes in length. Please include the
following information along with your abstract: your own name; name of
your institution; title of paper; title of dissertation (and year of study).
Abstracts should be sent to [log in to unmask] Any other queries
should be sent to the same address. (Information about registration, and
other logistical details, will be circulated early next month.)
