Not recent experience - although we have had profoundly deaf and hard of hearing students (not BSL users) here at Leeds for nursing and midwifery.
But just wanted to ask if you are familiar with UK Health Professionals with a Hearing Loss (http://hphl.org.uk/category/ukhphl) - and USA site http://www.amphl.org/? Useful links, advice and a forum where people discuss their practical experiences in work and training.
