Invitation to Tender:
Consultant to develop the project design and write a full proposal for
submission to the DFID BRACED team
Ref: C593
CARE International UK (CIUK) is seeking a consultant to lead the project
design and write a full proposal during the proposal development phase to
submit to the DFID BRACED Team in June 2014.
The role of the consultant is to lead the development of a successful
submission through a design process building on the early design work in the
concept note and engaging consortium members at the Headquarters, Region,
and Country Office levels. Our consortium consists of three lead agencies
and six regional partners led by CARE.
The consultant will be a highly competent facilitator with an in-depth
knowledge in climate change adaptation, resilience building, and has an
understanding of chronic and acute crises in the Sahel. He / she will be
able to work closely alongside the core consortium team to produce a full
application.
The proposal development phase will take place over four months from
February 2014 to June 2014. The consultant will be required to travel to
Burkina Faso / Mali or Niger (location to be decided in the coming weeks) to
facilitate a design workshop for all stakeholders
