Basically the information in the BDII is broken for non-space-token use:
ldapsearch -x -h lcg-bdii.cern.ch -p 2170 -b o=grid '(&(objectclass=GlueVOInfo)(GlueChunkKey=GlueSEUniqueID=srm-atlas.gridpp.rl.ac.uk)(!(GlueVOInfoTag=*)))' | grep Path:
GlueVOInfoPath: /castor/ads.rl.ac.uk/prod/atlas/raw
GlueVOInfoPath: /castor/ads.rl.ac.uk/test/ops/disk0tape0
GlueVOInfoPath: /castor/ads.rl.ac.uk/prod/atlas/simStrip
GlueVOInfoPath: /UNDEFINEDPATH
GlueVOInfoPath: /castor/ads.rl.ac.uk/prod/atlas/simRaw
GlueVOInfoPath: /castor/ads.rl.ac.uk/prod/atlas/hotDisk/atlashotdisk
GlueVOInfoPath: /castor/ads.rl.ac.uk/prod/atlas/StripDeg
GlueVOInfoPath: /castor/ads.rl.ac.uk/prod/atlas/stripInput
GlueVOInfoPath: /castor/ads.rl.ac.uk/prod/atlas/scratch
GlueVOInfoPath: /UNDEFINEDPATH
GlueVOInfoPath: /UNDEFINEDPATH
The simplest solution may be to add "--st ATLASSCRATCHDISK" to the lcg-cr, at a quick look that does seem to be published correctly and technically it's probably best to write test files to SCRATCHDISK.
