Research Assistant Post
The post is funded under the ESRC Centres and Large Grants Scheme and the project aims to create an international and interdisciplinary focal point for social science research on the efficacy and ethicality of welfare conditionality. The post holder will be part of a broader collaborative team and will work primarily alongside Dr Sharon Wright at the University of Glasgow. With relevant previous experience of conducting qualitative research, the successful applicant will have the research skills required to successfully organise, undertake and analyse in-depth interviews and focus groups. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.
As a minimum requirement you should hold a postgraduate qualification in social policy, public policy, urban studies, sociology or related subject. Experience in conducting qualitative longitudinal research and/or a PhD in a relevant area may be advantageous.
